Our dual APR12 passive radiator kit offers the ultimate in deep bass performance from our SDX12 subwoofers. The well-braced enclosure and passive radiators with 15 washers (675 g added mass) tune the SDX12 to 22 Hz and with a 80Hz low pass filter have an f3 of approximately 20 Hz and usable extension in room down to 10 Hz. With the included panels, you have the ability to make a separately enclosed area for a plate amplifier of your choice with a jig saw.
The enclosure is made of 1" thick sides, top, back, and bottom. The front panel for the subwoofer cutout will be 1.5" thick when fully assembled. All bracing is 1/2" thick and interlocking. This makes for an extremely dead and heavy enclosure. 18.5" x 18.5" x 18.5" external dimensions.
The kit comes with the following:
- 1 x SDX12 Subwoofer
- 2 x APR12 Passive Radiators
- 1 x 2.2 ft^3 Flat Pack Enclosure (2.0 ft^3 with optional internal amplifier chamber)
