The DS701 is a limited run kit utilizing our LD25X in a custom designed, all aluminum waveguide. Because of the limited nature of this kit, we are only offering this with the flat pack and Superior crossover.
This kit has an overall very similar tonal balance to the 1TD-X but better directivity will make it more suitable rooms which suffer from more reflections. The crossover point has been lowered to around 1200 Hz, but combined with the waveguide, distortion performance at the low end of the tweeter is actually improved.
