Custom work is quoted on an individual basis and is priced based on the difficulty and materials being used. Typically, a 2-way speaker starts at $4000 in labor only, a 3-way around $7500, and a 4-way or higher can be up to $10,000. Each custom speaker includes the the exact same labor that goes into all of our kit developments:
- Minimum of 20 acoustic measurements per driver (3-10 hours)
- Minimum of 20 acoustic measurements of the speaker with a prototype crossover (3 hours and up depending on number of crossovers tested)
- Labor for prototype cabinets (15-30 hours)
- Crossover optimization (10-20 hours)
- Listening tests (10-40 hours)
