Which speaker is right for you?
One family sound, four lines, and a room that decides the rest.
The short answer
All our speakers are voiced to a very similar tonal balance — if you've seen a review of one model, you can expect the others to sound like family. The differences come as you step up through the lines, and in how each one suits your room.
Our lineup
Every line is a strong value at its price, and the value grows as you climb: the Torii line competes with speakers twice its price; the X-Series with speakers several times its price.

How big is your listening room?
Speakers and rooms work together. Small rooms add bass and bring early reflections; large rooms ask for output with low distortion. Bass extension, baffle step and directivity decide what fits where.

Do I need a subwoofer?
Every model can run without a subwoofer for two-channel music, depending on the room. Some Torii S4 and sealed Torii owners add a sub in larger rooms; most Criton bookshelf owners are happy without, and 2TD, 2TD-X and 3TD-X owners usually sell theirs.

Impedance
Will my amplifier cope?
We watch impedance through the whole design process, keeping it as high as we can while getting the best frequency response. Where a design runs lower, we hold the phase angle close to zero — the least stress you can put on an amplifier.
